If you're reading this preview for Tiger Woods PGA Tour 07, chances are you've already played one of the earlier installments and enjoyed it. In fact, I'd be willing to bet if you're reading this you were probably hooked on the game; I know I was when 04 came out. You see the Tiger Woods series is all about the gameplay. Sure the graphics were amazing and all, but it was the gameplay that made me miss three or four days worth of classes in a row just to keep playing in all the real-time tournaments. It was the gameplay that made me forget about tests, about paying rent, about school in general, and I'm happy to announce that the gameplay is not only back for the 07 edition but it's actually better.

Thanks to the next-generation technology, the beautiful courses in Tiger Woods 07 just got a lot more realistic. And by realistic I mean challenging. All the fairways have much more texture on them, which will result in constant erratic bounces and a buffet of shitty lyes. How does this make the gameplay better you ask? Well smartass, it makes you think more like a real golfer considering your second shots will start to become a lot tougher; you'll have to really think, should I play it safe or try and punch it through those trees? You'll be swearing just like a real golfer in no time!



While the gameplay may be the heart and soul of this incredible series, the graphics have always been nothing short of stellar and this year's edition is the best looking Tiger yet. Using universal facial capture technology (UCAP), the designers over at EA have concocted the most realistic player model of Tiger Woods I've ever seen. If you watch the videos below, and you friggin have to, even Tiger himself can't believe how realistic it's getting. Tons of new reaction animations have been thrown into to the mix this year, and the crowd will play a part of this game that you have to see to believe.

If this preview doesn't get you excited again for another Tiger Woods PGA Tour edition, well then I don't know what to tell you; you just suck at life I guess. For those of you who are excited, you won't have to wait long for this incredible game to come out because it hits store shelves on October 17th, 2006; just a few weeks away!
