Joe Rogan Shiny Happy Jihad Review
Comedy Central Records - Visit Joe's Official Website
2007

Did you know Joe Rogan is a comedian? You know, the host from "Fear Factor' and the announcer at UFC events? Most people don't, even though he's been doing it for a long time now; that being said it's no surprise his first joke on his brand new comedy CD "Shiny Happy Jihad" tackles just that. Just released via Comedy Central Records, the hilarious and humble Joe Rogan sends the entire San Franciscan audience at Cobbs Comedy Club to the floor laughing, and he keeps them there all night by tearing apart controversial topics such as the Middle East, terrorism, homosexuality, and masturbation safe zones. Oh, and Fear Factor gets some airtime too, as it should. If you've been to College Downtime before there's a good chance you've seen some of the hysterical videos of him unleashing rage on Carlos Menstealia, or on a few of his drunk audience members who can't keep their mouths shut. Quick translation: Joe isn't afraid of anyone or anything, and he will freely speak his mind whenever he pleases. He carries that philosophy proudly into his comedy, and it really shows on "Shiny Happy Jihad". He's loud, obnoxious, definitely not shy, and most importantly funny. After you listen to this hysterical comedy album, you won't just see Joe as the "Fear Factor guy", but rather for what he really loves, which is his stand up. "Shiny Happy Jihad" fucking rocks, and it deserves a purchase immediately. It's in stores everywhere on April 10th, so mark your calendars.
