Silent Shout Review
The Knife
2006
Approximately six years ago, the brother sister duo known as The Knife began creating music in their hometown of Stockholm, Sweden. With the release of their latest album entitled, "Silent Shout", the band has officially created their own niche in the music industry. Is it trance? Sort of. What about techno? Maybe. "Silent Shout" quite simply is an exquisite blend of multiple beats, yet something entirely unique at the same time. With a mellow, suave sound all eleven tracks on this album will push your brain further and further into complete relaxation, while you revel at how in the world you've never heard of The Knife before this review.
Since this is a review, let's get down to business. "Silent Shout" simply put needs to be in your collection if you're any sort of techno, trance, or house connoisseur. You haven't heard anything close to this music before, and you won't hear anything like it again until of course the two siblings release their next album. If you're one of those people that love being the first person on your block to get something, now's your chance because The Knife is about to blow up across the Northwestern hemisphere! If you're strapped on cash and can't throw down for this stellar album, just head on over to the forums, because we're giving away three copies of "Silent Shout" this month! Awesome album, and a must have for any and all club heads out there.
