Foo Fighters - 1 x 1 Review
Genre: Alternative Rock
Written by Hoadman - July 3rd, 2003
The Foo Fighters released an Album almost a year ago, One By One, and I just recently added a copy of it to my collection. Notice how I said added; I have to choose my wording careful these days, Mr. Ashcroft might have my lines tapped. I was just a casual listener of the Foo Fighters before I heard this disk, but I have to say I'm a pretty big fan after hearing One By One. It's one of those albums that you pop in and listen to all the way though. All 11 songs are catchy as hell. Dave Grohl and the rest of the Foo Fighters unleash a menacing guitar attack with melodic sensibilities and a progressive beat, making the 55:27 fly by. One by One is one of, if not the best rock album to come out in the last year. It's definitely a must have for any true fan of modern rock. Don't take my word for it, go pick it up and listen to it for yourself. You'll be surprised by what you find.
