The three brothers that make up Chevelle may just be the most talented family trio since Hansen. Actually, Hansen is about at the same level as my toilet; if you didn't see my sarcastic tone then you obviously are new to College Downtime and my writing style. Chevelle, as opposed to Hansen, are unbelievable and their first album, "Wonder What's Next" proves just that. A CD is considered a huge success when 2 or 3 of it's tracks get's played as singles on the radio. Well what can one say about Chevelle's first album, "Wonder What's Next"? Starting with the platinum hit, "The Red", five other tracks have earned airtime and inevitable single-status. "Family System", "Comfortable Liar", "Send the Pain Below", "Forfeit", and "Closure" have all raped the radio waves from here to Europe, and Chevelle isn't slowing down anytime soon. Check out the review of their latest album, "This Type of Thinking", right here.

As you can see from the list of singles this album has produced since its release two years ago, every song on this disc is rock-worthy. "Wonder What's Next" is one of those rare albums that can be played all the way through without missing a beat; you can literally listen to this entire album without ever getting off your couch to change the song - it's that good. Don't believe me? Then listen to it, and you'll see. I don't know of many other albums that are this stacked, except for the good ol' days of Nirvana and The Smashing Pumpkins, namely Siamese Dream and Nevermind. Chevelle is here to stay. Only one question remains. Can you handle yet another addiction in your life? I can. Our highest recommendation.
