Pablo Francisco Ouch! Live from San Jose Review
Warner Bros
Review Posted on January 5th, 2007

Bleeped or non-bleeped? That is the question. I went for the non-beeped version, and it was the best decision I made all day. Okay, second best; deciding to switch my car insurance to Geico was a little better, sorry Pablo. Pablo Francisco, who stans as arguably the biggest rising star in the comedic ranks has just unveiled his own feature DVD called, "Pablo Francisco Ouch! Live from San Jose!", and College Downtime was lucky enough to snag a few copies for review and giveaway. In this delicious DVD release, Pablo unveils all his new material that I guarantee you've never heard before, unless of course if you've already watched this or was at the show in San Jose. In that case I'm a little dumbfounded as to why you'd be reading this review, but whatever, let's not get off topic. While Pablo hit it big-time due to his insanely hilarious "movie voiceover" jokes, he shows in this release that his humor isn't just relagated to imitating movie trailers. In "Ouch!" you'll hear him make fun of everything we talk about here at CD: video games, celebrities, movies, and music, and that's just the beginning. You'll hear a hilarious skit about cock blockers, and also a hysterical bit on cowboys and Brokeback Mountain. Pablo holds nothing back, and because of that it results in a hilarious comedy show.

From a DVD perspective, the cover artwork in the plastic case looks like it was made by a 4th grader, but maybe that's what they were goin for; who knows? Image Entertainment did manage to throw in some stellar special features however; not just quantity, but high quality as well. You can check out Pablo's crib, see clips of him on tour in Iceland, check out slide shows and audio clips of Mr. Francisco, and of course check out the soundtrack. If you're forced to watch this DVD with your neo-conservative Grandmother, Pablo was nice enough to include a "non-bleeped" version of the show as well, so you don't have to wait for the old hag to leave or fall asleep. Oh, and the DVD is presented in full color, which is you know, nice. Overall "Ouch!" is a phenomenal DVD title packed with some awesome special features. If you like to laugh, or you know someone that does, Pablo Francisco's Ouch! is a must have. Pick this bad boy up today, or take home our free copies in the forums!
