Las Vegas Season Three Review

What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas. Well, except for Nikki Cox. Oh, and Molly Sims. Now you can watch them every day at home with the release of "Las Vegas Season Three", uncut and completely uncensored for your viewing pleasure. If you haven't watched "Las Vegas" yet, well I don't know what else to really say but you're truly missing out. The show is exciting, sexy, extremely well written, and more than anything it's just cool. I don't know what it is about shows and movies revolving around the Vegas lifestyle that draws viewers in; nevermind, yes I do. Gambling, gorgeous women, status, and power. Did I mention this show has Molly Sims and Nikki Cox in it already? Oh I did? Well I just wanted to make that clear. Season three ranks as arguably the most exciting season yet, with the rebuilding of the Montecito casino and lots of new faces, let alone some stellar new plot lines. But a great show does not always constitute a solid DVD release; the other half of that ranking comes from the quality of the special features.

Las Vegas is a city that is always taking, rarely ever giving back. I'm talking about your money and your morals, and the city tends to pay out more via sexually transmitted diseases than mega-cash jackpots. "Las Vegas Season Three" tends to follow the city's model in that aside from the episodes themselves, you aren't getting much else. Let's go down the list shall we? Extras-wise you're looking at a "season three gag reel", and a feature entitled, "In with the New", which is nothing more than a time-lapse photography segment on the building of the new hotel and casino. That ladies and gentlemen, is all you're getting. So is picking up Season Three on DVD still worth it? Definately, because this is a top notch show that is really taking off and gaining popularity. However if you're a hardcore fan looking for some cool extras, you're going to be pretty disappointed. Don't get too down on yourself though, did I mention that Molly Sims and Nikki Cox star in this series? Oh I did already, three times now? Oh well.
