Well pin a rose on your nose, the "Complete Sixth Season of Full House" just got released on DVD and we've got ourselves a review copy (thanks Warner Bros!). So what's the lowdown on season six you ask, since it's probably been a while since you've got the Tanner family on the tube? Well here's a quick rundown that should bring back a few memories, courtesy of the always-helpful back cover: "Michelle is named Princess for a Day at Disney World. D.J. attends her very first prom. Stephanie heads for Auckland, New Zealand, thinking she was going to "Oakland" (what a dumb bitch haha, actually this is the one episode I remember from this season). Joey adds laughs as he shares the mic at Jesse's new disc jockey job. Danny gets up the nerve to propose to Vicky, and high school dropout Jesse finally makes the grade: he goes back to school to get his diploma and a brand-new sense of pride." Oh, and he might be fathering yet another friggin child, which would bring the household total to a ridiculously insane ten. Ten Tanners in one house, wow. I guess that's where they got the show name huh? It's sad that I just put that together isn't it? Yeah it is, but you know what's even sadder? Wait til you see the special features.

Oh wait, there are no special features. "Full House" was only one of the most popular sitcoms on television during the 1990's, so yeah, that wouldn't make any sense to add special features. Now granted people like my sisters are gonna buy these seasons for the episodes alone, but c'mon, could they not find ten extra minutes of Uncle Jesse bloopers or a featurette on whether or not Danny Tanner was actually gay? How about an hour long reel of all of Uncle Joey's infamous one-liners and impersonations? How sweet would that be? Sigh. This is really sad folks; for a show as big as Full House was you'd think we as consumers, would be entitled to some special feature lovin. Nope, not this time. This is seriously gonna dock the score; overall the episodes are great, but the complete lack of special features really hurt. Maybe Danny Tanner was gay.
