Baywatch Season 1 Review
Fremantle Media, First Look
Review Posted on November 2nd, 2006
This review is gonna be biased, I'm sorry. Seriously though, is it possible to not review something with The Hoff in it without giving it a perfect score? Oh and on top of that, how about Pamela Anderson running down the beach in a swimsuit? You see what I'm getting at? Well let's give it a whirl anyway and see what happens. Please don't be frightened if I get sudden outbursts and throw in a few subtle reminders of these two phenomenal actors; just keep reading and pretend you never saw it. So yeah. Baywatch Season 1 has finally been released on DVD, and to be more specificDavidHasselhoff ... sorry, it won't happen again. To be more specific, they released season one across five discs with every single episode that originally aired on television. Five discs loaded to the edge of people drowning, Pamela Anderson running down the beach, and The Hoff doing whatever it is ... that he does on this show. There's a reason why this show is the world's most popular show ever you know; yeah I think we all know why.

As far as special features go, there aren't any. Weird isn't it? On the other hand however the original series Pilot episode is included as well as a never-before-seen episode called, "Panic at Malibu Pier", which coincidentally sounds like the title for every Baywatch episode haha. When I first read that show title I thought to myself, "Wtf, I've seen that one already. Err, wait, have I?" Aside from those two bonus episodes, that's all you're gonna get. Nevertheless, Baywatch Season 1 is a must have for any fan of good television. Oh, and did I mention that you're getting five discs full of The Hoff and Pamela Anderson? I have? Twice? Well I just want to make that clear. The special features are a total disappointment, but the show itself makes this box set worth the purchase price. Oh and by the way, I'm giving away both our review copies this month in the forums, so stop by and win yourself a copy today!
