Bah Humduck! A Looney Tunes Christmas Review

When we were kids, there was nothing better than waking up ass early on Saturday morning, pouring a half-ton of your favorite sugar cereal into a mixing bowl and watching Looney Tunes for hours in your pajamas. Now that we're all grown up (at least physically), our Saturday mornings usually involve walks of shame, posting bail at the local police department, or trying to remember the name of the girl that for some reason thinks she can still sleep in your bed. Once in a while though, it's nice to revisit those times you were a kid when you didn't have to worry about finals, or studying, and just kick back and watch cartoons. Well thanks to Warner Bros you can do just that with the release of Bah, Humduck! A Looney Tunes Christmas. Sure the holidays might be over, but that doesn't mean you can't relax for an hour and watch this classic original movie; you know you want to. All your favorite characters are here: Daffy, Taz, Porky Pig, Tweety, Bugs, and Yosemite Sam. Now that's an All Star cast if I've ever seen one.
Feature presentation aside, Warner Bros kinda slacked and only added a few additional scenes into the special features department, but now that I think about it I don't really know what else could've been included. Audio commentary or interviews with the actors? They're friggin cartoons! They did add a weak "Menu Challenge Game" into the bonus features, that frankly would only be entertaining if you've downed a fifth of Absinthe or if you're actually still five years old. And even in both those scenarios, this game would only keep you busy for about five minutes before you moved on. Overall we've got polar opposites here: the main feature film is outstanding and will bring you back to being a kid again, but the special features are virtually nonexistent. Probably better to rent this one, unless you've got money to blow.
