No, MTV isn't making a film off their popular dating show "Next", thank God. Rather Paramount Pictures is at the helm finishing up work on a massive new sci-fi thriller starring Nicolas Cage, Jessica Biel, and Julianne Moore. Next is about a man (Nicolas Cage) who has the ability to see well into the future and change events before they happen. He claims to have seen a catastrophic event coming (nuclear bomb), and Julianne Moore is trying to get him to figure out how they can stop it. In the end it will ultimately come down to a choice: saving himself, or saving the entire world. Don't be selfish Mr. Cage. Not much has been released yet as far as official synopsis and photos, but we at least have a trailer live. As soon as more info becomes public you'll find it right hizere.
