March 9th. It's so close yet so far away. Two months from the writing of this epic preview comes 300, which in my mind ranks as one of the most highly anticipated war films in a long, long time. And in a galaxy far, far away. "300" takes us back to ancient times and a true story of when 300 Spartan soldiers took on the overwhelming forces of the ginormous Persian army at the Battle of Thermoplae. Frank Miller, who was the man behind "Sin City", is back as the writer, storyboarder, and overall creator of the original "300" comic book/graphic novel, which is the basis for this entire film. Just like Sin City, 300 is filmed entirely in virtual environments using green screens, meaning the writing and the acting has to be that much better. The trailer alone folks will leave you salivating; this movie is gonna hit it big when it's unleashed on the box office in early March.
