Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels Locked 'N Loaded Unrated Director's Cut Review
Universal
October 4th, 2006
It's hard to believe that eight years ago Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels hit theaters for the first time, isn't it? Well now the good people over at Focus Features and Universal Studios have re-released this outstanding film on DVD again, except this time as the "Locked 'N Loaded Unrated Director's Cut Edition"! If you haven't seen or even heard of this film, don't be discouraged; if you liked Snatch with Jason Statham (The Transporter) you'll love this film, because they share almost identical casts. What's the story behind Lock Stock? Well Eddie, played by Nick Moran, enters into an extremely high-stakes card game with the savings from his three best friends and loses it all to underworld boss Hatchet Harry (sweet name, eh?). Eddie and his friends then have a week to come up with half a million dollars, and let's just say that week is ridiculously "action packed" if you know what I mean. As I already said, if you enjoyed Snatch then you'll absolutely love Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrells, especially now that it's been re-released with all-new, unrated bonus features!

Quite possibly one of the coolest bonus features ever created for a DVD is included on this disc, in the form of a hilarious compilation of all the film's expletives; trust me, there's a lot of them too! The feature is called, "Lock, Stock and Two F**king Barrels", and it lives up to the hype! When fans pick up this stellar DVD up they'll also get a massive featurette on the film's cinematography called, "One Smoking Camera". While you're really getting quality over quantity here in terms of special features, it really doesn't matter considering that the film itself is well worth the cost of picking up this DVD. If you can't spare the cash right now on your tight college budget, don't worry because College Downtime has got ya covered once again. We've got two copies of Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels: Locked 'N Loaded Unrated Director's Cut (long title, damn!) and we're giving them both away this month in the forums! Overall this is one outstanding DVD! Pick it up today people!
